Where you can find work by Allan Rutherford of Riverworks Studio

We have selected pieces of our work on display and for sale in appropriate outlets.

Some of our work, including the Frank Lloyd Wright inspired “Tree of Life” privacy screen,  is on display in the artisans studio at Cranberry Stained Glass. We also create custom framing for stained glass work.

We are proud to be exhibiting new work at the brand new Trees Gallery, located at the Old Station in Mahone Bay. The Trees Gallery is a gallery of fine arts and crafts that tells the story of our forests. The story told by Trees presents the greater value of trees and forests to our society, our environment, and our economy, through the works of artists and artisans who gain their inspiration from our forests.

The “Red Vines at Grand Lake” screen is shown here on exhibit at Harvest Gallery in Wolfville.  This eye-catching piece of functional artwork is a particularly appropriate blend of the Mission style of Riverworks Studio and the Group of Seven style of local artist Carol Morrison. The screen crafted from quarter sawn black walnut, all mortise and tenon joinery, with raised maple pins, forms a fitting frame for the vibrant three-panel landscape.

We are now participating in the online gallery at The Saatchi Gallery in London, UK after receiving an invitation from Mr. Siobhan MacCann, who was impressed by both our website and the quality of our work!

As well, we show our work at selected craft shows around Nova Scotia from time to time. Our booth at the renowned Lunenburg Craft Show 2007, where we displayed many examples of our current work, is shown here.

Of course, you are always welcome to view a more complete selection of our work in our showroom in New Germany. Simply contact us for directions.
