Riverworks Studio is the home of the Nova Scotia Skiff limited edition "boat shelf": a truly unique and eye-catching addition to any home or cottage. The classic Nova Scotia Skiff boat shelf is 4 feet long, and can be ordered with or without weather instruments.

Along with our classic 4 foot boat shelf, we are pleased to introduce 6 foot and 8 foot floor model versions of the Nova Scotia Skiff Bookcase. These fine pieces of furniture will make an impressive statement in any room.

Each boat shelf is hand built from white pine and trimmed in ash with black cherry or black walnut accents. Hand crafted beauty is in the details from the open gunwales to the cherry "V" in the cambered deck.
The natural wood surfaces are finished in Varathane while the exterior of the hull receives two coats of primer and three coats of exterior alkyd urethane enamel in a choice of colours: Classic Burgundy and Bristol Blue. Custom colours are available on request.

Each boat shelf has a brass plate affixed in the stern bearing the limited edition number and the maker's information and signature. Each boat shelf series is a limited edition of 500 pieces.
